Incredibly it’s December already! Where did the year go? As the holidays near, we’re catching our breath and reflecting back on a fantastic year at Grassfed Media.
We had the opportunity to work with a host of fabulous clients including Equinox Restaurant, the Partnership for a Healthier America, Whitecoat Strategies, DC VegFest, and Heirloom Catering and Event Design. Plus we added several new clients to the roster including the Foundation for Art and Preservation in Embassies, Skincando, and Bazaar Spices.
Here are just a few of the highlights from an eventful 2015!
Equinox Restaurant was on-point with veg-forward cuisine, the Veggie Burger Smackdown on Capitol Hill, and general fabulousness. This year, the acclaimed restaurant has been featured multiple times in the Washington Post, Washingtonian, Where Magazine, VegNews, Modern Luxury, Zagat, WTOP, Eater, Thrillist, the Washington Blade, Yahoo! Food, Brightest Young Things, and many other local and national publications.
HEIRLOOM CATERING AND EVENT DESIGN
Vicky Theodorou of Heirloom Catering & Event Design showed ABC 7 Good Morning Washington viewers how to throw a stress-free holiday gathering, complete with gold-embellished cupcakes! The client was also featured this year in Washingtonian, Washington Life, Let’s Talk Live, and many other outlets.
Despite the threat of Hurricane Joaquin, we secured spectacular coverage of DC Vegfest 2015 in more than 24 print and online outlets including WTOP, Washington City Paper, the Washington Blade, Washington City Paper, Brightest Young Things, the Hungry Lobbyist, Good Day DC, Good Morning Washington, and Let’s Talk Live. We can’t wait until next year and, fingers crossed, better weather.
Sara Damelio of Skincando launched her first eco-beauty pop up at the Emerald Door in Silver Spring, and beauty aficionados came out in force to try an assortment of local and all-natural beauty products from Skincando, Mischo Beauty, and London Pedisoaks as well as delicious treats from vendors including Baklava Couture, Puree Juice, and Chocquette. The event was featured in Guest of a Guest, DC in Heels, and Washington Life. We also booked Sara on Good Morning Washington, where she discussed all-natural, DIY ways to soothe dry winter skin.
It’s been a gratifying and exciting year and we’re so proud of all of our clients. We look forward to an even better 2016 and wish you all much happiness, success, and peace in the new year!
